I have always thought that the most important tool to develop our skills in every language is VOCABULARY.

In my opinion Blogging it`s a very useful method to learn new vocabulary. writing about (almost always) things that we like. English is one of the most used languages in the world, so I think that is very important that every people have to learn a little bit of English, at least to understand the instructions of every tool that we used in a normal day.

I feel that, with every blog, we are training to improve our vocabulary. I think that my writing skills are getting better, with time, maybe I could start to write very nice.

The method that I used to learn more words, to improve my vocabulary is analyze the lyrics of songs that I like, in English obviously. Search for the meaning of words in the lyrics it`s something that I always do, to understand what is the message that author of the song wants to say, so, maybe I could include this in the blogs.

I would have liked to write about my favorite movies since I was a child, I think that would have been so funny,

write and read about this.  

Favorite Place

I had never thought in a favorite place before, I think that it`s really hard to choose a place where I can feel relax without think in my home xD, but if I have to choose another place I would think in a park called "Parque Bicentenario", it is located in Vitacura, Santiago.

I don`t know how many times I have visited this park, but I think that is twice.

I remember that the first time that I went to the park was with my family, the past year in September or October, I remember that we had planned go to other park, near to "Parque Bicentenario", called "Parque Mahuida", but we didn't like and take the decision of go to "Parque Bicentenario". I think that is the most beautiful park in Santiago, with a lot of green areas, even you can find a "mini zoo" with flamingos, koi fishes and other animals, also a lot of food tracks to eat wherever you want, where you can go with children or your pets.

This was a very very long trip from my house, about two hours taken the subway and a bus, but I think that it`s worthy the sacrifice.

Website

When I have to think in a career related website, I only can think in www.freemidi.org. It is a site where you can download MIDI files. A MIDI file is not an audio recording. Rather, it is a set of instructions (pitch or tempo) and can use a thousand times less disk space than the equivalent recorded audio. It is a communication protocol that connect a variety of digital musical instruments, computers and related audio devices to playing, recording and editing music. 

The first year of my career I worked with MIDI files in an subject called Digital Platforms, where we worked with softwares like Pro Tools, Ableton, Audacity, etc.

This website has a immense variety of MIDI files, has a section called "Top Midi" where you can find the most popular midi of the page or the most download files, so I use this page when I want to download an MIDI file of a song that I like, to editing the instruments just like I want and I like a lot because it has a very simple appearance so its super easy to use it.

Blog 3: Favorite music band/ artist / kind of music

It´s very difficult to me say who is my favorite artist or band. I love music so I think that every artist or band have a special characteristic.

But now I can tell you about a band that has been in my heart since I started to become a musician.

This band is "Linkin Park".an American band from Agoura Hills, California, formed in 1996. Their kind of music is alternative metal and rock, also sometimes electronic rock and a little of rap.

I remeber that, when I was 12 years old, was the first time that I heard this band, a song called "Given Up", this happened thank to a classmate that liked Linkin Park too. The rythim guitar in this song its what make me love this band, 

I like so much its firsts albums, like "Hybrid Theory" (2000), "Meteora" (2003) or "Minutes to Midnight" (2007), I love this three albums and I think that are the best.

Its last album was "One More Light"(2017), a more electronic and pop-oriented record and so emotional, at the beginning I didn´t liked so much this new kind of music on this band, but when I analyzed the lyrics of its songs, I learned to appreciate this album.

This last time Linkin Park went into an indefinite hiatus after its longtime lead vocalist Chester Bennington died from suicide by hanging on July 20, 2017, because of a strong depression. I was so sad when I heard that Chester decides to commit suicide on the birthday of one of his best friends, Chris Cornell, another of my favorites singers, who had died a few months ago in the same way, from that moment Chester has been my favorite singer.

His last live show was so emotional, I think that with the song "One More Light" he was able to express everything he felt, in his last moments, to his fans.

R.I.P. Chester Bennington.

I took this photo in 2017 when I was 17 years old. I remember that afternoon I was going back to my home from school, it was an autumn day, for a moment I looked to the sky and I saw these beautiful colors, so I can`t resist to take that photo.

We can see a young couple looking to the sky appreciating that orange color of the sunset, in center of Maipú, where I live and in the background we can see the famous "Templo Votivo de Maipú".
I like this photo because its a very simple picture, I took it with my smartphone and edited with an app called "Lightroom", I know that I had been repeating same words about the colors of this photo, but I like so much! hahaha.
This is one of my first edit photos so I have a lot of affection for this image.

Pets

Thats the only photo that I found of him

During my whole life I have had a lot of pets, two dogs and three cats, but the most important relation with an animal was a dog called "Lou". He was my first pet as a gift for my 2nd birthday, so he has been my little friend for a long long time.
He was a "Cocker spaniel", a very very funny breed of dogs. When he was a puppy, he was so crazy , running for everywhere and destroying everything.



I remember when he escaped from my house, we didn`t know where he went, we were so sad and thought that he didn`t came back, but two days after that, my patents found him and he was so happy when he saw them.
Unfortunately he died three years ago, when he was fourteen years old, an very old dog. I was so sad because of this.
Currently he is a very beautiful plant in the center of my garden.

Dreams

When I was a child, one of my dream jobs was work as a veterinarian, because since I was a child I have liked animals so much. My whole life I have lived with animals, my parents gave my first pet when I was two years old. That`s the only of my dream jobs that I remember, so lets continue...

Other major options that I had at the moment of apply to university was Computer engineering, If you remember my last post, I wrote about that I like so much technology, computers mainly, so I was so excited to study that engineering, but I decided to study Sound engineering because I love music and technology, so my career its a combination of both things, I have to study music theory, and at the same time, calculus and learn how to use audio software.

My experience at university until now has been a wonderful, I have known very very good people and some subjects that I have to study are so difficult but I love musical subjects. 

In the future I would like to work producing music in a studio or doing my own music.
